Several studies refer to digitalization of agriculture as a game changer in boosting productivity, profitability and resilience to climate change. However, there is not much up-to-date and systematized information on the digitalisation status of agricultural systems and more specifically in the SADC region.
CCARDESA is embarking on a program of stocktaking and assessing the status of digitalization of agricultural systems in the SADC region with special interest in the areas of agricultural research for development, agriculture education, agriculture extension and market linkages.
