Opportunities of financing Postharvest Management Investments
Dear Stakeholder,
Sustainable financing options for Postharvest Management (PHM) investments are crucial drivers for postharvest losses reduction in Africa. A webinar on the topic: “Opportunities of financing Postharvest Management Investments” will take place on the 5th September 2019, in two slots; the first in the morning and the second in evening/afternoon.

Two experienced panelists, both of them coordinators of the project: Postharvest Management in Sub-Saharan Africa (PHM-SSA) implemented in Mozambique and Benin will present their experiences on two different financing options.
1. Mr. Mauricio Negas will share his experience working with microfinance institutions to finance PHM investments for smallholder farmers in Mozambique,.
2. Mr. Daniel Tagali will share his experience implementing warrantage systems among smallholder farmers in Benin.
